Tata Motors Nexon SUV gets dearer. Here are the new prices.
The Nexon price range has been raised from $1,000 to $11,000 by the automaker. The price of the diesel Nexon XZA+ (O) Dark Edition model has increased by $11,000.
Some versions of the range, such as the petrol and diesel XZ+ manuals, the petrol XZ+ and XZA+ Dark Editions, and the diesel XM (S) trim with a sunroof, are untouched by the price change.
Nexon’s diesel lineup now starts with the mid-spec XM model, after the company discreetly phased out the XMA, XZ, and XZA+ models (S).
The Tata Nexon is available with a 1.5-litre turbo-diesel or 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine. In the first example, the car’s engine produces 110 horsepower, but in the second situation, the engine produces 120 horsepower.
Both engines are available with a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic manual transmission as a transmission option.
In May of this year, the carmaker raised the price of the Nexon electric vehicle by $16,000. The EV is available in three trim levels: XM, XZ+, and XZ+ Lux. The base trim remained unchanged, but the higher trims increased by $16,000.
