Tadic ‘puts his balls on the line’ in collision with post in scoring vs Dortmund
AJAX star Dusan Tadic put his body on the line to score the equaliser against Borussia Dortmund – and may have temporarily regretted it.
The former Southampton ace slid in at the back post to to make it 1-1 on 72 minutes away in Germany in their Champions League clash.
But it came at some cost – with the Serbian crashing his private parts straight into the woodwork.
Tadic was left holding his genitals after the collision as his joy at scoring a goal was somewhat soured.
Unsurprisingly the painful moment drew a fair bit of attention on social media.
Sacha Pisani wrote on Twitter: “Dusan Tadic literally put his balls on the line for Ajax’s equaliser.”
Another footie fan posted that it was a ‘ballsy move’, while another wrote that the 32-year-old had ‘Serbian balls of steel’.
But what Tadic’s goal did do was give the visitors hope of getting something from the game after Marco Reus had fired Dortmund ahead from the penalty spot on 37 minutes.

Just 11 minutes later former West Ham forward Sebastian Haller made it 2-1 to the Dutch club.
And then ex-Everton man Davy Klaassen wrapped up the win on 93 minutes.
Two video reviews shaped the game in less than ten minutes.
The first upheld a contentious red card for Dortmund centre-back Mats Hummels over a lunging challenge on Brazilian winger Antony despite relatively light contact.
Hummels seemed stunned as he walked off.
Dortmund responded by taking the lead eight minutes later after the VAR system drew the referee’s attention to a foul on England midfielder Jude Bellingham by Ajax’s Noussair Mazraoui.
Captain Reus stepped up to convert the resulting penalty.
But the Germans’ resistance was finally broken as Ajax staged a stunning late fightback to book their place in the Champions League knockout stages.
