Sylvester Stallone says it ‘kills me’ as he addresses Bruce Willis
Bruce Willis’ family announced in March this year that he would be “stepping away” from acting after being diagnosed with aphasia. Now, his friend and fellow Hollywood legend Sylvester Stallone has given an insight into the 67-year-old’s health battle and the “difficult times” he had been going through.
Sylvester, who starred alongside Bruce in The Expendables and The Expendables 2, admitted that his co-star’s health issue “kills me”.
Sylvester went on to claim that the Die Hard actor had been “incommunicado.”
The Rocky star explained: “Bruce is going through some really, really difficult times.
“So he’s been sort of incommunicado.
“We are moving through this as a strong family unit, and wanted to bring his fans in because we know how much he means to you, as you do to him.
“As Bruce always says, ‘Live it up’ and together we plan to do just that.”
Back in June, Bruce’s wife, Emma Heming Willis shared a sweet moment that saw the actor staying active.
Emma took to her social media account to share a video showing the star throwing a basketball straight into the hoop after being passed it by another person.
She captioned the heartwarming clip: “I see you BeeDub”.
Emma has been keen on keeping fans up to date on her husband’s health, also revealing how his condition has affected her own health, especially mentally.
She shared: “I struggle with making the time for self-care every day. I put my family’s needs above my own, which I found does not make me any kind of hero.
“That amount of care for everyone else within my household had taken a toll on my mental health and overall health, and it served no one in my family,” Emma told The Bump.
