Swizzels has joined forces with indie tea company Bird & Blend to launch a brand-new range of boxed blends for the summer to celebrate the sweets giant’s 95th anniversary.
That means their classic treats Parma Violets, Love Hearts, Drumsticks, and Refreshers are getting the tea treatment.
Bird & Blend Co-Founder Krisi Smith said: ‘I absolutely loved creating Swizzels-inspired tea, and we’re super happy with the blends.
‘It was lots of fun and actually quite nostalgic for me turning my beloved childhood sweets into flavourful fun teas! We’re thrilled to be part of their 95th anniversary year and so excited to be collaborating with Swizzels.’

With specially selected blends of herbs, flowers, and fruit, that’s how.
The Love Hearts version will be made with apple pieces, rosehip, hibiscus and elderberries, and the Parma Violets flavour will be made using black tea, hibiscus, and mallow flowers.
The Refreshers flavour will be achieved using apple pieces, rosehip, lemongrass, orange peel, and calendula petals.
And last but certainly not least, the iconic Drumstick flavour will be made with apple pieces, rosehip, hibiscus, Chinese oolong tea, sunflower petals, and freeze-dried raspberry.
Jeremy Dee, Managing Director at Swizzels, said: ‘We’re really excited to be collaborating with Bird & Blend as part of our milestone birthday celebrations. To be able to work with another innovative brand and watch the tea blends come to life has been amazing.

The boxes will cost £10 for 12 single-serve tea blends, and you’ll be able to get your hands on them online on the Swizzels and Bird & Blend websites, as well as in all Bird & Blend stores across the UK.
They’ll launch on 30 July.
