Survivor star Keith Nale dies aged 62 after short battle with cancer
Two-time Survivor contestant Keith Nale has died at the age of 62 following a battle with cancer.
The reality TV star’s son Wes Nale told Entertainment Tonight in a statement: ‘He passed away this afternoon.
‘He’d been battling cancer for the past few months and we found out about it in January.’
His brother Kevin Nale also told the publication: ‘A life taken way too soon!
‘It happened so quickly. Cancer ate him up. He passed this afternoon at his home in Shreveport, Louisiana.’
Nale, who worked as a fire captain, first appeared on Survivor San Juan del Sur, which features pairs of loved ones competing against each other.
The firefighter appeared alongside Wes in the juggernaut series back in 2014, eventually making it to the final four owing to his skill in the Immunity Challenges.
Nale was later among the twenty castaways chosen by public vote to compete on the ‘second chance’ season, Survivor: Cambodia.
