Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 2

The first season of Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation was split into two parts and aired its 23 episodes in 2021. The Isekai fantasy show is also quite popular due to its setting. Second season of the show is set to air from July 3.

Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Separation

The second part of the Bleach anime that will adapt the final manga arc, Thousand-Year Blood War, will also release in summer 2023. Bleach is an iconic Shounen title that aired from October 2004 to March 2012 with a total of 366 episodes. The anime then returned in 2022 to adapt the story’s final arc. Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Separation will start airing from July 8.

Masamune-kun’s Revenge R

While not in the same league as the previous entries by any means, Masamune-kun’s Revenge is a romcom title that aired in winter 2017. The plot of the show centres around revenge, and while it didn’t exactly get a positive reception, it was quite popular during the season it aired. It is also interesting to see an anime get a sequel five years later. Masamune-kun’s Revenge R will start airing from July 3.

Rent-a-Girlfriend Season 3

Rent-a-Girlfriend has divided the anime community. Some think it’s a show not worth giving time to, and others think it makes for a good guilty pleasure watch. The show is about a guy who rents a girlfriend after going through a bad breakup. During this transactional relationship, the two start developing actual feelings for each other. Season 3 of the anime will start broadcasting from July 7.

Horimiya: The Missing Pieces

This isn’t exactly a “sequel” as Horimiya: The Missing Pieces will adapt chapters from the manga that weren’t adapted in the 2021 anime. This show finds its place in this list because you would have to watch the Horimiya anime anyway to get the best experience while watching The Missing Pieces. So, while this side story won’t continue from where we left off in the main show, there will be a lot of adorable new moments between Kyouko Hori and Izumi Miyamura to watch. Horimiya: The Missing Pieces starts airing July 1.

Bungo Stray Dogs 5

This is the fifth season of Bungo Stray Dogs, a series that aired its first season all the way back in 2016. The action anime has supernatural themes. The anime is about a young orphan, Atsushi Nakajima, who joins the Armed Detective Agency to solve mysterious cases and confront criminals. There is a lot of material to cover, hence the multiple seasons. For context, the manga written by Kafka Asagiri and illustrated by Sango Harukawa is collected in 23 volumes and is still publishing. Bungo Stray Dogs Season 6 will start airing from July 12.

The Devil is a Part-Timer! Season 2 Sequel

The 2013 anime The Devil is a Part-Timer! is about the Demon Lord Satan adjusting to his new life on earth after he is transported to the planet by mankind’s champion. The show returned with a sequel in the summer of 2022, and while anticipation among fans was at an all-time high, the second season was not as good as everyone had hoped. Regardless, a sequel to Season 2 is also coming in July. The Devil is a Part-Timer! Season 2 Sequel will begin airing on July 13.

The Duke of Death and His Maid Season 2

The Duke of Death and His Maid aired its first season in 2021. It is about a duke named Bocchan who kills anything he touches. He also has a beautiful maid, Alice, to keep him company. As they spend a lot of time together, Bocchan gradually begins to develop feelings for Alice but is restricted due to his power. While the plot of the show sounds very tragic, it is a sweet romcom, and it’s getting a second season.
