Strictly’s Adam Peaty seen with ‘bloody face’ after punch-up with GB teammate

Former Strictly Come Dancing star Adam Peaty was reportedly left with a “bloody face” following a punch-up with fellow Team GB swimmer Luke Greenbank.

The altercation is said to have occurred after Adam, 28, made a jibe at Luke, 25, about his girlfriend Anna Hopkin, whom it is understood Luke has been dating for the past two years.

Adam was apparently looking a little worse for wear following the bust-up, which witnesses claimed was sparked after he slapped his teammate’s backside and made a cocky quip about his girlfriend Anna, 27.

Anna is an Olympic gold medallist swimmer, who won gold as part of the British team at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics in mixed 4 × 100 metre medley relay, setting a new world record time.

Luke is said to have been furious about Adam’s remarks, retaliating by giving him a “bloody face”.

A source told The Sun: “It was absolute carnage. Peaty was being cocky and made a joke at Greenbank’s expense, before touching his backside.

“But his actions touched a real nerve for Greenbank and it got very heated,” the source added.

“Peaty was left with a bloody face.”

It is understood that the altercation occurred at a Team GB training camp on Friday at Loughborough University.

Coaches reportedly tended to Adam on the scene, with the source adding: “Those around them persuaded Peaty and Greenbank to shake hands and put the fight behind them.”

Adam is currently dating famous chef Gordon Ramsay’s daughter, Holly Ramsay.

Holly’s sister Tilly Ramsay took part in Strictly Come Dancing alongside Adam in 2021.

The swimmer’s new romance comes after he split from his ex Eiri Munro, who is the mother of his two-year-old son George, last August.

When contacted by Express.co.uk, Adam’s representatives clarified that Adam “did not need stitches”.
