Stokes’ dropped catch that burned England in Ashes epic
Australia completed an instantly iconic Ashes victory when skipper Pat Cummins hit an Ollie Robinson ball for four in the dying stages of day five.
The boundary, which came about when Harry Brook made a mess at third man, sealed a remarkable two-wicket win for the Australians.
The tourists, set 281 runs to win, were steered home by Cummins and Nathan Lyon, who combined for an improbable 55-run partnership as Australia took a 1-0 lead in the series.
