Stocks to buy today: Maruti, Hero Moto among top 9 trading ideas for 27 June 2023
The S&P BSE Sensex and Nifty50 closed mixed on Monday. The Nifty50 closed below 18,700 levels.
India VIX was up by 1.38% from 11.24 to 11.39 levels in the previous trading session. Volatility was slightly on the rise but overall lower levels kept the market choppy in a smaller range.
On the options front, the monthly maximum Call OI is placed at 18,800 and then towards 18,700 strikes while the maximum Put OI is placed at 18,700 and then towards 18,600 strikes.
Call writing is seen at 18,700 and then at 18,950 strikes while Put writing is seen at 18,600 and then at 18,650 strikes.
“Options data suggests a shift in a lower trading range in between 18,500 to 19,000 zones while an immediate trading range in between 18550 to 18800 zones,” Chandan Taparia, Analyst-Derivatives at Motilal Oswal Financial Services Limited, said.
“Nifty formed a Doji sort of candle on the daily frame and respected its previous day’s lower zone on Monday,” he said.“Now the index has to hold above 18,666 zones to witness an up move towards 18,750 then 18,888 zones while on the downside support exists at 18,550 and 18,500 zones,” recommended Taparia.
