Star Wars Jedi Survivor Patch for PC Released, Improving Performance; PS5 & XSX Update Arrives Tomorrow

A new Star Wars Jedi Survivor patch for PC has been rolled out, aiming to improve performance. A patch for consoles is being released tomorrow.

Following the game’s release last week, Respawn and EA offered an apology to PC players for the game’s subpar performance. Fixes were being offered, although EA mentioned that there isn’t a comprehensive solution for PC performance.  On consoles, the performance of the sequel is rough as well with the 30FPS quality mode currently being the best option for those playing the game on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5.

Luckily, a PC patch has now been deployed, which should, at least, somewhat address some of the performance issues on PC. Tomorrow, PS5 and Xbox Series X will also receive an update packing performance improvements alongside various bug fixes. According to the official release notes shared by EA on Twitter, today’s PC update should offer performance improvements for non-raytraced rendering with the patch already containing the fixes coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S tomorrow. “We are hard at work on patches that will further improve performance and fix bugs across all platforms”, the statement from EA and Respawn Entertainment reads.
