As far as family Halloween costumes go, Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash are definitely the winners.
The adorable family went all out this year and made spooky season a family affair, all dressing up as the Flintstones and posing outside a pumpkin adorned doorway at their beloved Pickle Cottage.
Joined by Zachary, 14, Leighton, 10, Rex, three, and one-year-old Rose, the celebrity couple were all smiles, although Stacey admitted the idea to dress as the cartoon family was mostly inspired by how many costume she needed.
The former X Factor star shared a series of hilarious snaps of the brood dressed up, fully dedicated to the cause by going barefoot, despite the October rain.
‘Happy Halloween ???? Lots of love from me, Fred, Barney, Betty, Bam Bam & Pebbles ????,’ Stacey wrote on Instagram.
And despite her sons getting older, they still want to join in the fun with her, which she loves.
‘Every year it’s getting harder to find family costumes with enough members for all of us ????,’ Stacey joked. It’s Leighton as Betty for me and Rose’s wig I just can’t cope ????.
‘Can’t even believe the big boys still do this with me. To the moon and back boys. Happy Happy Halloween everyone. Love uuuuu! ????’
After taking pics outside their Essex mansion, the Loose Women panelist added that they had to ‘increase our layers every hour’ as the rain came down in ‘full force’ following their mini photoshoot.
The couple’s fans were absolutely obsessed with their costumes, with one hailing them the ‘best outfits ever.’
‘I absolutely love this! I also love how Leighton is so confident in his own skin and has such a great sense of humour to dress up as Betty! A great testament to you! What a fab bunch ❤️’, commented one follower.
‘You understood the assignment. Love love love this!!’, praised another.
Famous friends were also living for the fancy dress, with Jake Quickenden showing his approval with his comment: ‘Haha brilliant,’ while Bobby Norris echoed his compliment with: ‘This is amazing Stace!!’
And it seems Joe, aka Fred, got into the swing of things in the end, despite initially worrying about his orange outfit clashing with his hair.
‘Fred loved it in the end,’ Stacey signed off on her Instagram Story. ‘Thank you for all of your lovely messages, they’re cracking me up.’
