Stacey Giggs has shared a positive update after her car was stolen by ‘masked men’ from outside her home.

The mother-of-two, who was formerly married to footballer Ryan Giggs, was said to be ‘inconsolable’ after she watched the thieves break into her £80,000 Range Rover parked outside her home in Worsley, Greater Manchester and drive off in it.

Her children, Liberty, 19, and 15-year-old Zach, also watched the theft happen.

However, the vehicle has been returned with Stacey confirming it’s now in the possession of police.

In her Instagram stories on Sunday, she told her concerned followers: ‘Thank you so much for all your lovely msgs! Liberty, Zach and myself are doing just fine.

‘My cars with the police forensic and we have cctv. But at the end of the day it’s just a car! Xxx.’

It was previously reported that Stacey and her children were woken at around 1.30am on Friday and saw three masked men driving off in their Range Rover Sport.

Stacey, who was in a relationship with The Wanted’s Max George until recently after which he began dating EastEnders actress Maisie Smith, was said to be left ‘traumatised’ by the incident.

An insider told The Sun: ‘It was so upsetting. Her kids were there and were hysterical.’

Stacey reportedly called the police ‘straight away’ and was able to locate the car where it had been dumped, due to a tracker on the vehicle.

As Stacey confirmed, the incident was captured on CCTV footage and the family are now trying to figure out how the thieves accessed the property and vehicle.

‘Zach and Liberty have been left ‘terrified and inconsolable,’ the source said.

They added it was ‘unthinkable for this to happen after everything Stacey has been through with Max.’

Stacey and Max, 33, had been dating since 2018, and split in March of this year. They reconciled and were seen together a month later attending the funeral of Max’s bandmate Tom Parker, but they split again shortly after.

Since then, Max appears to have struck up a romance with former Strictly Come Dancing star Maisie, with the two jetting off on holiday together and seen kissing in the street.
