Stacey Dooley admits partner Kevin Clifton’s baby blunder left her in tears

Strictly Come Dancing winner Stacey Dooley and her partner Kevin Clifton welcomed their daughter Minnie back in January and the pair have embraced parenthood enthusiastically.

However, it hasn’t been without setbacks for the pair, with Stacey admitting that she was once so overwhelmed by her emotions and exhaustion that she had an extremely tearful reaction to Kevin’s innocent mishap.

The documentarian revealed to OK! Magazine that she had once burst into tears when the dancer accidentally dropped her freshly-pumped breast milk all over the floor.

“I heard what had gone on and I went, ‘OK, don’t kick off, it wasn’t deliberate,’” Stacey remembered.

“I brought myself upstairs, got into bed and cried and cried and cried,” she admitted.

“The pillow was wet. Everything feels so massive. Your hormones are all over the shop.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Stacey went on to praise her partner Kevin for his support throughout her pregnancy.

“I don’t want to sound too gushy or soppy, but I couldn’t have done this without Kev,” she said.

“I couldn’t have done this with anyone else. You’ve always loved them but it’s a different love that I have for Kev now. Like my family.”

Kevin and Stacey first met in 2018 when they were partnered up on BBC One’s Strictly Come Dancing and went on to win the show.

Shortly after the show ended and once Stacey had split from her ex-boyfriend Sam Tucknott, the pair began dating.

While the pair are loved up and raising a child together, Stacey has revealed marriage isn’t a priority for them.

Before his relationship with Stacey, Kevin was married three times, first to Anna Melnikova when he was just 20 years old and secondly to Clare Craze when he was 24.

His most recent marriage was to fellow Strictly Come Dancing professional Karen Hauer, whom he wed in 2015 before they later split in 2018.
