NEW DELHI: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the result for the Sub-Inspector (SI) recruitment examination for the first phase of Paper 1 held in 2022. The SSC is conducting the recruitment drive for a total of 4300 posts of Sub-Inspector (General Duty), Sub-Inspector (Executive) Female/Male in Delhi Police and various Central Armed Police Forces (BSF, CISF, CRPF, ITBP and SSB).
To check the result, candidates need to enter their roll number and date of birth. The result will be displayed on the screen, which can be downloaded and printed for future reference.

The SSC SI recruitment examination is conducted to recruit candidates for the post of Sub-Inspector in various departments such as the Delhi Police, Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), and Intelligence Bureau (IB). The examination consists of a written test and physical endurance test, followed by a medical examination and interview.
Candidates who have qualified in the written examination will be eligible to appear for the physical endurance test, which consists of a physical measurement test and a physical efficiency test. The physical measurement test consists of checking the height, chest, and weight of the candidates, while the physical efficiency test consists of running and other physical activities.
Candidates who clear the physical endurance test will be eligible for the medical examination, which will be conducted by the respective department. Candidates who pass the medical examination will be called for an interview, which will be conducted by the Staff Selection Commission.
The final selection of candidates will be based on their performance in the written test, physical endurance test, medical examination, and interview. The SSC will release the final merit list of selected candidates on its official website.

The final selection of candidates is based on the combined score of the written exam, PET, PST, and interview.
