The masterclass will be followed by the announcement of the best photographers from the graduating class and a concluding speech by the SSVAP director.
SSVAP offers two recognised programs approved by the UGC. The first program is a three-year BA in Visual Arts & Photography that covers the fundamentals of filmmaking, visual arts, and photography. Students will learn the necessary skills and knowledge to create visually appealing and meaningful content. The curriculum includes digital photography, composition, lighting, colour theory, and digital imaging.
The second program is a one-year Diploma in Cinematography designed for those who want to specialise in cinematography. The program provides students with the technical skills and knowledge to produce compelling visual stories using cameras, lighting, and other tools. The curriculum includes camera techniques, lighting, colour grading, and post-production.
The admission process requires applicants to submit a portfolio of their original work and participate in an interview with the admissions committee. This process allows the institution to assess the applicant’s skills, potential, and creative vision and understand their personal goals.
To be considered for admission, applicants must have completed 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. The school believes that its eligibility criteria and admission process helps them identify the most talented and passionate individuals who are committed to pursuing their artistic dreams. They welcome applications from all those who share their values and want to be part of their creative community.
