Fans on Twitter have pointed out that Peter Parker’s birthday is August 10 – tomorrow (Tuesday).

This information has led fans to believe that the trailer for No Way Home could be hitting the internet this week to commemorate the momentous occasion.

One fan wrote on Twitter: “The No Way Home trailer is so coming out on August 10. it’s around the time we should be getting it and it’s Peter Parker’s birthday AND it’s a Tuesday which is trailer day.” (sic)

Another fan wrote: “#SpiderManNoWayHome If Pater Parker [has] his birthday spider man no way home movie trailer? On August 10? @TomHolland1996.” (sic)

Peter’s birthday isn’t the only Spider-Man connection to August 10.

Other fans pointed out August 10 was also the debut of Spider-Man in the original Marvel comic book, Amazing Fantasy number 15.

One fan said: “I’m putting it out in the universe so I hope it comes true: The Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer makes sense to release on Tuesday because on August 10, 1962 that was the debut of Peter Parker in Amazing Fantasy #15.”

While speaking on the Happy Sad Confused Podcast earlier this year, Garfield said: “I can’t speak for anything else, but for myself. They might be doing something, but I ain’t got a call.”

He added: “I would’ve gotten a call by now. That’s what I’m saying.”

On the other hand, Doctor Octopus actor Alfred Molina has confirmed he will be in the next Spidey movie.

In a conversation with Variety, Molina confirmed: “It was wonderful [returning to play Doctor Octopus]. It was very interesting going back after 17 years to play the same role, given that in the intervening years, I now have two chins, a wattle, crow’s feet and a slightly a slightly dodgy lower back.”

He went on to add: “When we were shooting it, we were all under orders not to talk about it, because it was supposed to be some great big secret.

“But, you know, it’s all over the internet. I actually described myself as the worst kept secret in Hollywood!”

Spider-Man No Way Home hits cinemas on December 17, 2021.
