Sophie channels Kate in Botswana with ‘1950s dress’ and £375 bracelet
Sophie chose her Co Belted Linen and Cotton-Blend Midi Dress, designed by Stephanie Danan and Justin Kern.
It is described as a “simple linen and cotton-blend dress referencing 50s workwear in its classic A-line silhouette”. Unfortunately, this dress is no longer in stock.
The style was reminiscent of Kate Middleton’s yellow Karen Millen dress she wore just last week.
That dress was so popular among royal fans that it is no longer in stock.
Sophie’s dress today was an elegant and airy white dress, with a belt across her waist completing a classy look.
The sleeves reached the Countess’ elbows and the skirt reached just below Sophie’s knees.
Sophie paired her dress with some espadrilles which the Countess has worn many times before.
These were her Penelope Chilvers Scoop Leather Espadrille in Tan, which retail at a whopping £159.
DON’T MISS:
While these are more expensive than your average espadrille, the Countess has got a lot of wear out of them and has demonstrated their durability by wearing the same pair to royal events for the past few years.
For today’s occasion, Sophie wore her blonde hair in a low bun, wore some simple dangly earrings and her £375 Felt gold chain bracelet with a sliced diamond on her right hand.
She carried her Sophie Habsburg Capri bag, which costs €180 or roughly £158.
The Countess was visiting Molefe Primary School in Kopong, which has participated in the Pono Yame school eye health programme.
Kate opted for bold navy accessories to contrast her elegant dress, including a pair of navy-heeled pumps.
In her hands, Kate carried a simple blue velvet clutch bag which perfectly matched the tone of her famous sapphire engagement ring.
Kate wore a pair of small hoop earrings with dangling details and wore her hair in her signature waves.
The earrings were the Hera White Gold and Diamond Pear Detachable Drop Earrings from Emily Mortimer Jewellery, which retail for £795.
