Sony PlayStation VR 2 Updated Along With PS5 Firmware Update; All You Need to Know

PlayStation 5 received an extensive update today, that brings a whole bunch of changes to the system software. Most notably, this update brings Discord voice chat to PlayStation 5, along with that, we have received some slight tweaks to icons, new personalisation options, game library enhancements and new accessibility features.

It seems that PS5 wasn’t the only console that received an update. A report from Exputer shows that Sony’s PlayStation VR 2 was another Sony device that was secretly updated along with the PS5 update. Many users have come up on Reddit and NeoGAF to share their experience with the new update on the next-gen virtual reality gaming console.

Users have stated that the quality of graphics has improved, the overall viewing experience on the PSVR 2 has been enhanced too. On top of that, it seems that another issue related to users not being able to switch off their TVs while wearing the headset in a complex setup has been resolved too.

Many users have also noted that a bunch of improvements have come towards PSVR 2’s Gran Turismo 7. Apart from that, the DualSense wireless controller, DualSense Edge wireless controller, and PlayStation VR2 Sense controllers have received stability improvements too.
