Sony PlayStation Studios Is Developing an Unannounced ‘Heavily Stylized’ AAA Game
Sony might be working on a new, unannounced AAA title, according to a latest report. These speculations stem from the LinkedIn profile of a PlayStation employee, John Borba.
Twitter user Timurr222 spotted the job description of John Borba, who is currently “Art Outsourcing Coordinator on an unannounced, heavily-stylized AAA project.”
While his bio mentions an unannounced project, that’s mostly all the information about the game out there, as one would expect. Some gamers have theorised that the mention of a “heavily-stylized” game points fingers towards a Horizon multiplayer spin-off.
That’s because Guerrilla Games has already described the game with a “unique stylised look” in a job listing.
This could be anything.

However, it’s also interesting to note that John Borba has mentioned in his resume that the game is being developed by PlayStation Visual Arts.
That studio is known to collaborate with third-party studios, as highlighted by Exputer. It’s also written in the description that the game’s art is being outsourced.
Sony creating a new development to work with Naughty Dog
Last year in October, Sony was looking for a new development team as well to work with PlayStation Visual Arts and Naughty Dog on a AAA title.
That information was also revealed through an official Sony job listing. It read, “Sony PlayStation is building a new internal game development team in partnership with PSS Visual Arts, an award-winning, full-production group, that specializes in Animation, Motion Capture, Cinematics, Art, and Scanning.”
Sony said back then, “This high visibility project is being developed in collaboration with Naughty Dog. Though currently unannounced, we have a clear vision and plan to release.”
There may be some relation between the two titles or none, but it’s quite clear that Sony does have multiple AAA games in development at this point.
