Sony announces 13 more games for PS VR2: NFL Pro Era, Kayak VR: Mirage and more – Times of India

Sony’s next – PlayStation VR2 – is set to hit the shelves in a few weeks. Until now, the PlayStation VR2 was to come with 11 titles from some of the popular franchises — No Man’s Sky, Resident Evil Village, and Horizon Call of the Mountain. In a surprise announcement, Sony announced more than a dozen new titles, including Gran Turismo 7 that will be coming to PS VR2.
Gran Turismo 7 coming to PS VR2 on launch day
The Gran Turismo 7 will be the launch title for the PS VR2. The popular racing simulator arrives as a free upgrade to those who have already purchased the game.
Polyphony Digital, the developer of GT7, announced that the game will utilise the advanced features of the next-generation VR headset, including eye-tracking and foveated rendering. However, two-player split-screen races will not be compatible with VR.
NFL Pro Era, Kayak VR: Mirage and more coming to PS VR2 in the launch window
NFL Pro Era, the first licensed NFL and NFLPA VR game, which was released last year for Windows and PS4, will be coming to PS VR 2 in the launch window. This game tests players’ abilities to guide their chosen team to the Super Bowl, or they can also play catch with their friends.
Kayak VR: Mirage, which was originally launched last summer, is now also coming to the PS VR2. The game lets players kayak through various environments, such as alongside dolphins in Costa Rica, through ice caves in Antarctica or enjoying the sun in the canyons of Australia, with realistic graphics, diverse wildlife and an immersive audio experience.
The other titles to come to PS VR2 are Before Your Eyes, Pavlov VR, Beat Saber, Synth Riders: Remastered Edition, Song in the Smoke: Rekindled Puzzling Places, NFL Pro Era, What the Bat?, Rez Infinite, Tetris Effect: Connected, Creed: Rise to Glory – Championship Edition and The Last Clockwinder.
A total of more than 30 games will be coming to PlayStation VR2. Some of them will be available on the release, i.e., February 23, while others will be released throughout the launch window till March.
