‘So bad it’s brilliant’: Polish museum goes viral for unflattering wax figures of Prince William and Kate Middleton

“Wait until the end” was the suggestion in the caption of a TikTok video about a wax museum in Poland.

Viewers who waited until the finish saw not-so-flattering wax figures of Prince William and Kate Middleton.

While Kate Middleton’s wax figure simply does not resemble the princess, Prince William’s was just unflattering. The face of the prince’s wax figure appears to be braving a stiff wind or a blow-dryer — his hair is whipped back and his lips are pulled wide, showcasing not-so-pearly-white teeth.

One TikTok user wrote in the comments section of the video that “William and Kate looked very excited,” adding three Face with Tears of Joy emojis to the comment.

The video is now going viral for the Krakow Wax Museum’s depictions of both the royals but also other prominent figures such as David Guetta, Michael Jackson, Elvis and Lady Gaga.

While the museum’s not-so-accurate wax figures are making the rounds on social media, reviewers of the attraction say it’s part of the draw.

“This place is so bad it’s brilliant. My family never laughed so much in a long time. You have to visit to see how awful the waxworks are,” read one review on Trip Advisor.
