Today is World Kindness Day, an event that is observed in countries around the world as an annual reminder to be kind and that even small acts of kindness can make a big difference.

As well as the UK, nations including Canada, Australia, the United Arab Emirates, Singapore, and more will all mark World Kindness Day in some way today.

But what can you do to put a smile on someone’s face?

Here are some quotes and ideas for small acts of kindness you can carry out to help spread a little love today.

What is World Kindness Day?

The awareness day is the brainchild of the World Kindness Movement – a global coalition of kindness NGOs.

First observed in 1998, it has grown as a movement over two decades, with the World Kindness Movement continuing in their work to make kindness the norm worldwide.
