Sky rivals BT and Virgin with ‘lowest ever’ price for TV and broadband

If your TV and broadband bills are making you shudder it might be worth checking out the latest offers from Sky. The firm has just updated its best Sky deals and there’s one bundle that’s certainly eye-catching. Right now, customers can get premium TV, ultrafast broadband speeds and full Netflix access for just £43 per month – that’s Sky’s lowest-ever price for this bundle with things usually starting from £64.

Included in the package are channels such as Sky Atlantic, Sky Documentaries and Sky Nature plus there are quick broadband speeds which will blast the web through your walls at speeds in excess of 140Mbps – that’s around double the UK average.

Finally, you’ll also get Netflix thrown in as well so you can watch endless boxsets, documentaries and movies as part of the price.

The £43 cost is based on signing up for 18 months along with accessing telly content via the firm’s latest Stream box.

This diddy device uses the web to beam live and on-demand content to the big screen rather than getting access via a dish. That way of watching also means it can be self-installed with Sky simply sending the device out in the post.

Although there’s no Sky Q-style in-built hard drive, the box can store and replay content via cloud recordings and catch up players like ITVX.

Stream also features premium apps such as Disney+ and Apple TV+ with content from these platforms all available with a tap on the backlit remote.

If that Sky Stream box doesn’t take your fancy then don’t panic as there is another enticing offer from Sky.

The firm is also dishing out totally free content – usually £26 per month – when customers take delivery of Sky Glass. The free deal lasts for the first three months of the contract and also includes Netflix along with Sky channels and ultrafast broadband.

As a quick reminder, Sky Glass is an all-in-one solution that offers a screen, soundbar and internal set-top box.

Just like Stream, Sky Glass uses an internet connection to view content so there’s no need for a dish or fussy installation. The device also comes with a backlit remote, full voice controls and is available in three different screen sizes and numerous colours.
