Sky customers warned of TV channel changes TODAY – check so you don’t miss out

SKY customers have been warned to expect some changes to three popular channels coming today.

The broadcaster frequently gives its channel lists a shuffle, but it can be a frustrating time for customers who like things to stay the same.

Sky Blockbusters – Satellite 302 – Glass/Stream 302 – will now be found under the names WizardingWorld or WizardingWldHD.

The channel is expected to host Harry Potter classics over the summer holidays.

Sky Cinema Comedy – Satellite 308 – Glass/Stream 308 – is set to change its name to Sky Fun or Sky Fun HD.

Sky Sci-Fi & Horror – Satellite – Glass/Stream 311 – will rename itself as SummerScares or Smr Scares HD.

The new channel names might be slightly confusing at first, but the channel numbers will remain the same.

The changes affect satellite only – ie Sky Q viewers.

So anyone on Sky Glass or Sky Stream is not impacted.

There has been some major changes to Sky TV channels this month.

At the beginning of the week, sports fans were cautioned about a string of channel number changes amid BT Sport’s rebrand to TNT Sports.

BT Sport 1 – which will become TNT Sports 1 – is moving from number 413 to 410.

BT Sport 2 – soon to be TNT Sports 2 – will go up to 411.

The HD versions for each will also shift to 868 and 869 respectively.

Eurosport 1 and Eurosport 2 are shuffling as a result too.

TNT Sports channel numbers

Here’s the full list of channel numbers from July 18 onwards on Sky satellite.

• TNT Sports 1 – 410
• TNT Sports 2 – 411
• Eurosport 1 – 413
• Eurosport 2 – 414

There hasn’t been any announcements for channel number changes on Virgin Media or BT TV.

So, the BT Sport channels as we know them will simply switch branding to TNT Sports but the content will remain the same.
