Sir Tom Jones looked very surprised when Josie Gibson belted out an impromptu rendition of his classic song Sex Bomb.
The 37-year-old presenter was going behind the scenes of The Voice UK, chatting to the Welsh icon and his fellow judges Anne-Marie, Olly Murs and Will.I.Am, ahead of its launch.
As the former Big Brother contestant chatted to the foursome on Friday’s episode of This Morning as they sat on their famous red swivel chairs, Josie had a shot at singing stardom.
Bursting into song, the Bristol star decided to perform Sir Tom’s timeless track, Sex Bomb, to the delight of Anne-Marie, Olly and Will.I.Am.
As well as belting out the It’s Not Unusual performer’s hit song, Josie decided to whip out some moves as well, gyrating along to her harmonies.
The dancing went well down with Olly, who, will copying her shapes, said it was his favourite part of the show.
Meanwhile, Anne-Marie praised Josie’s vocal chords, saying surprised: ‘You’re actually in tune.’
But the best reaction by far was the 82-year-old legend’s, who look on in confusion as Josie updated his classic, blinking slowly to the beat.
Sir Tom did appear to love the performance – once it was over – clapping enthusiastically and beaming from ear to ear.
The new series of The Voice UK will feature a brand new element added to the format called The Callbacks.
This will see contestants who made it through the Blind Auditions battle it out against each other in the hope that they’ll earn themselves a spot in the semi-final stage of the contest.
The eventual winner will secure a recording contract with Universal’s label UMOD.
This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV, while The Voice UK returns on Saturday September 3 on ITV and ITV Hub.
