Singer-Songwriter and Producer grentperez Is Set To Visit Manila for His First-Ever Live Performance in Asia

Australia-based rising star grentperez just released his highly anticipated EP ‘When We Were Younger’ and announced his upcoming live performance in Manila

Loyal grentperez fans are eating well today as the young star just released his much-awaited EP ‘When We Were Younger’. As if that weren’t enough, he also announced his upcoming live performance in Manila. He is set to perform at the Eastwood Central Plaza on 16 June. The show is free for fans to attend on a first-come-first-served basis. 

The brand-new EP includes previously released tracks such as ‘Old With You’, ‘Us Without Me’, and ‘When The Day Is Done’, which we reviewed and examined in a past ‘Listening Party’ article. The release also includes a number of new songs; ‘Silver Lining’, ‘When We Were Younger’, and the focus track ‘Stuck On You’.

The project was conceived as a means to get out of a songwriting rut, ‘When We Were Younger’ is a seven-song collection centered around the concept of nostalgia. Motivated by a desire to stave off cynicism and embrace the carefree creativity of childhood, in his own words ‘When We Were Younger’ “is a collection of music each relating to figures of the past, whether it be in love, loss, families and friendship.”
