Brian Mannix has been taken to hospital with an arm wound after another ill-fated trip on Sam Newman’s boat, which saw the rocker get “attacked by a shark”.

Mannix – who was bruised following a fall on the 66 foot yacht, named Angst, before Christmas – took to Instagram to reveal there’d been more drama while aboard on Sunday.

“It’s either Sam Newman’s boat or the bloody sharks! Thanks to @rickynixon & @warrickcapper for jumping in & helping me. They are just gonna keep me in overnight, cos they reckon I’m sexy?” he wrote, alongside a snap of a huge gash on his arm.

“How many people have to be shark attack victims before we fight back?”

Speaking to the Herald Sun, the former Uncanny X-Men lead singer said he didn’t “even know how it happened”.

“I went swimming and somehow I cut my arm up and the Wiz (Warwick Capper) jumped in and got me,” he recalled.

“Every time I go on the boat I end up coming home covered in blood. Thanks Warwick Capper for saving my life.”

Newman tended to his injury’s while on the boat, saying it was “uncanny how we gets himself into so much strife”.

“He came back with a reasonable gash and bleeding profusely,” he added.

“If he ever comes again I’m just going to let the coast guard know to have an ambulance follow us.

“People probably jump to conclusions that they’re affected by whatever. They are a loud and unruly crowd but very well behaved.

“I got the first aid kit out and bandaged him and I’d like the clips back.”

Mannix was left nursing a bruised and battered face on December 21, when the yacht was rocked by wild weather. The 60-year-old went nose first into the step on the boat, but luckily was left with only “an impact injury”.
