Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani’s Shershaah lands in trouble

Shershaah is, perhaps, the most popular film of the year so far. The movie, based on Kargil war hero Captain Vikram Batra (PVC) was an instant hit when it released and was praised by audiences and critics alike. However, this Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani movie has now landed in trouble for using a car’s number plate that belongs to a Kashmiri journalist. The number plate in the film has been depicted as belonging to a militant and hence, the journalist alleges that his life is in danger because of it.

“It is a threat to me and my family. I cannot travel in the car as I feel safety concerns now due to the move. I have not given any permission to any production house to use the regd no. of my car. I now decided to fight against the @DharmaMovies @DharmaTwoPointO to stop the broadcast of movie in the entire country. As they have copied my car regd no. and used it in the movie. I am filing a case against the production house,” wrote Faraz Ashraf, the Kashmiri journalist on Twitter.
