Shoppers rush to buy reduced Samsonite suitcase in Amazon luggage sale
THOSE with holidays on the horizon will love the deals that have just dropped in Amazon’s luggage sale.
Running from today (July 26th) until August 8th, the sale includes a whole range of travel essentials, from suitcases to travel pillows.
However, our favourite deal has to be on this Samsonite Citybeat Spinner Case, which has had its price slashed by a third.
- Samsonite Citybeat Spinner Suitcase (Medium) in Golden Yellow,
£179£120.30 from Amazon – buy here
The price of the lightweight case has been reduced from an eye-watering £179 to a much more reasonable £120.30 – the lowest price it has ever been on Amazon.
The 33% discount applies to the Golden Yellow colourway, whose sunny hue makes us want to climb on a plane immediately. Its bright colour also means that you’re unlikely to mistake someone else’s case for your own on the baggage carousel (although it’s always worth checking the label!).
There are discounts on other colourways, too, albeit not as dramatic. The Petrol Blue colourway, for example, has been discounted by 12% to £156.92, while the Navy Blue colourway has been discounted by 20% to £143.47.
The no-nonsense Black case, meanwhile has been discounted to £142.53.
The case in question is classified as a medium and measures 42 x 28/31 x 66 cm. It weighs just 2.7kg and has four wheels, making it easy to manoeuvre.
There are two measurements for the depth because the case is expandable; you can add an extra 3cm of storage for bigger trips.
Other features include a built-in TSA lock and corner protection.

Amazon has also discounted other sizes of the suitcase, with the smaller variant of the Petrol Blue colourway discounted by a massive 32%.
The discount takes the price of the case from £149 to just £101.30.
Measuring 40 x 20 x 55 cm, the small case holds enough luggage for a weekend away and is compact enough to be used as a carry-on on some airlines.
