Shoppers rush to buy PS5 at lowest-ever price – people think it’s an error
SHOPPERS are rushing to get their hands on a PlayStation 5 which has plunged to its cheapest-ever price on Amazon.
You can get up to £50 off the gaming console today, without being an Prime subscriber.
The Sony device, released in 2020, is typically available on Amazon for £479.99.
It has been reduced by 16 per cent to £404.99 on the marketplace already.
But Amazon is handing out additional 15 per cent off vouchers to 1,000 eligible customers, for all electronics on its website.
Often you can’t use a discount code on an already reduced item.
However, in this case, the double discount applies.
This takes the PS5 from £479.99 to just £354.99, it’s lowest-ever price on Amazon.
It’s a price that’s hard to beat anywhere else.
Simply head to Amazon’s website to see if you’re eligible for the discount.
If Amazon says you’re eligible, you can click the “Apply promotion” button the screen to apply the discount to one electronic device in your basket.
You then have up to seven days to claim it, before the offer disappears – or goes to someone else.
It’s important to note, however, that the voucher will only remove a maximum of £50 off the item’s original price.
Even though the PS5 is nearly three years old, it’s remains one of the best on the market.
It is a “gaming powerhouse” with powerful hardware and high-grade graphics, according to one customer who reviewed the console earlier this month.
“The graphics are stunning, with incredibly detailed and immersive visuals that bring games to life,” they said, adding that it has “minimal lag”.
“The selection of games available for the PlayStation 5 is impressive, with a wide range of genres and titles to choose from.
“Whether I’m diving into epic adventures, competitive multiplayer matches, or engaging storytelling experiences, the PlayStation 5 delivers exceptional gaming experiences.”
