Shoppers rush to buy Alexa-powered earphones that are showing up for HALF price
AMAZON’S Echo Buds are currently being listed for sale for half price, even ahead of Prime Day next month.
The wireless earphones work with Amazon’s voice assistant Alexa to stream music and play podcasts or Audible audiobooks.
But they’re not just compatible with Alexa.
Owners can use the earphones with Apple’s Siri and Android’s Google Assistant to voice control your music.
Users can switch songs or transfer music from a smart speaker to the Echo earbuds with a simple voice command.
It’s perfect for when you’re on the go and don’t have a hand spare to grab your phone and flick to the next song.

There is a noise cancellation feature, but the reviews suggest that this might not be as good as its pricier competitors.
In a review on Amazon’s website, one customer said: “The sound quality is very good.
“The best part is that the bass is clear and not boomy as on other cheaper earbuds I have used.
“Noise cancellation seems to work to an extent, but I have not been overly impressed.”

Another said: “The buds fit very well with no movement when i’m running about.
“Bluetooth connection with my phone is stable, sound quality is perfect for my needs, pass-through function is very good, active noise cancelling is ok, definitely noticeable but doesn’t cut out all ambient noise.”
