Shoppers rush to buy £330 laptop appearing for £180 in Amazon Prime Day deal
SHOPPERS looking for a brand new laptop have spotted a Prime Day bargain on Amazon.
The Lenovo IdeaPad Duet 3 is a Chromebook detachable which doubles up as a laptop and tablet.
It runs on Google’s ChromeOS, relying heavily on the Chrome web browser.
As part of the 48-hour Prime Day event, Lenovo has dropped the device down by 45 per cent.
For a limited time you can grab the Chromebook for £180.
That’s less than last year’s Black Friday price drop when it went down to £250.
It usually costs £330.
The IdeaPad Duet 3 features a 10.95-inch display and has a 64GB hard drive.
Lenovo claims it has a battery life of about 12 hours.
There’s also a stylus for when you want to use it in tablet mode and take notes.
Customer reviews left on Amazon have largely been positive, with a 4.4 out of 5 rating based on 55 reviews.
“Great little machine, very happy with my purchase,” one buyer said.
Another commented: ” It’s not going to compare with more expensive Chromebooks, but if you want a reliable, easy to use Chromebook that fits easily in your bag, then thumbs up.
“I mainly use it for word-processing, emails and general everyday stuff, which it is fantastic for.”
