Sharon Cuneta appeals for prayers anew as 4 family members now down with COVID-19
Sharon Cuneta has given fans an update on her family’s health situation as four of them have now tested positive for COVID-19.
The Megastar revealed this while showing a positive COVID-19 test kit on her Instagram page yesterday, Nov. 3.
“Now [four] in our family are down with [COVID-19]. Oh. Em. Gee. Please, please pray for us all,” she said.
Earlier this week, Cuneta also asked for prayers as she disclosed that three members of her family had tested positive for COVID-19 after their trip to Australia. She did not immediately specify who among them caught the coronavirus.
Cuneta traveled to Australia last month for her concert tour there. Her husband Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan” and their children—Frankie, Miel and Miguel—eventually followed the actress to the country, where they celebrated Miguel’s 13th birthday.
In one of her shows in Australia, Cuneta serenaded concertgoers with her hit song “Bituing Walang Ningning,” which marked the first time she performed the track since her friend and fellow actress Cherie Gil‘s passing. /ra
