Mira Kapoor also shared a picture with Pankaj Kapur and her sister-in-law Sanah Kapur from her wedding.

During the promotions of Jersey, which starred the father and son duo, Shahid Kapoor shared an anecdote about his experience sharing screen with his father. He said, “On the tenth or eleventh day, we had a scene where Arjun and his coach are smoking a cigarette and having tea. Though I can never think of doing that in real life, Jersey gave me a chance to chill with dad.”
