Sean Lock fans find 8 Out Of 10 Cats ‘hard to watch’ as comedian makes final TV appearance
Sean Lock’s untimely death came as a shock to many after his agent confirmed last August he had passed away from cancer. The beloved comedian had endured a secret battle with lung cancer over the past few years until his death aged 58.
Earlier tonight fans were able to see him in one of his last appearances before he passed away as he took part in 8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown on Channel 4.
Sean’s appearance was confirmed earlier today on 8 Out Of 10 Cats’ official Twitter page.
The announcement read: “New #CatsCountdown on @Channel4 at 9pm tonight with guests @HarryHill, @josierones, @nickmohammed… and comedy legend, the late great Sean Lock in one of his last appearances on the show.”
Viewers also took to the social media platform to pay tribute to the late star, with some expressing how hard it was for them to watch the programme.
Leahhmariee93 lamented: “Seeing Sean Lock on tonight’s newest episode of #CatsCountdown has just hurt my heart.
“I already feel this is gonna be an awesome one and it’s only just started.”
Sean’s friend Bill Bailey revealed shortly after his death that he had been battling cancer in secret.
In an interview with ITV News, Bill said: “He had been diagnosed with lung cancer a few years ago and it was at the time quite a blow, particularly when it was quite advanced.
