Waking up early morning to catch a school bus can be difficult for students during the cold winter of December. It’s even more difficult during the Christmas season, when students look forward to the winter holidays. Apart from weekends, schools and colleges provide students with a ‘winter break‘ that can last up to 10 days, depending on the institution.
Although Christmas falls on a Sunday this year, schools will remain closed during the winter vacation. These vacations help students in planning their vacations and spending quality time with their families. Furthermore, in addition to the much-anticipated winter break, December brings five Saturdays and four Sundays.

Schools and PU colleges in Kolar district of Karnataka have been given holiday on Monday 12 December 2022 due to rain. Karnataka’s Chikkaballapur district administration has declared holiday on Monday 12 December 2022 for schools.
