The 58-year-old Sex in the City star shared a collection of images to her Instagram story and added a number of images of packets from Ireland’s Supervalu grocery shop.
Escaping the attention for a moment, the A-lister and her actor husband Matthew Broderick regularly spent time holidaying in the northern county where they have a home in the region’s Kilcar.
Her bizarre post began with a picture of an Irish York cabbage from the supermarket and featured a picture of wine on the shop’s shelves as well as other produce from the store.
She captioned the gallery of food-filled images with an ode to her recent trip and reflected on the fact that photos couldn’t do the time justice.
Sarah penned: ‘Photos really. They never quite capture it. And there is always more.
‘And you should have SEEN it. Had a bite.
‘Smelled the turf. Watched the sea. Heard him talking. Cooked the chop. Buttered the spud. The new spud.
‘Seen the colors. Touched the tweed. Had the tea. The perfect York cabbage.
‘So we did. So it was. Til next time. X, SJ [sic].’
Supervalu themselves proceeded to comment on the star’s tribute to the chain and wrote underneath the post: ‘SuperValu and SJP, the crossover you never knew you needed. We are delighted you enjoyed your trip.’
Other fans flocked to the comment section to share their thoughts on the actress’s latest upload.
One said: ‘..and “just like that” SJP has us Donegal folk down to a tee new spuds & butter with the yorks, Magee’s tweed, Charleville red cheddar & the tay [sic].’
Another wrote: ‘Donegal where life is happening at a different pace delighted that you loved embracing the @thewildatlanticway of life [sic].’
‘You have captured the essence of us and condensed the memories of every Irish person – thank you Sarah. Slaínte until the next time [sic],’ was a response for a separate social media user.
The star updated her social media on the evening of the release of another episode of Sarah’s latest season of And Just Like That.
