Sara Ali Khan talked about her parents’ emotional reaction to watching Atrangi Re

Sara Ali Khan, in her latest interview, revealed that she turned both her parents, father Saif Ali Khan and mother Amrita Singh, emotional as they watched her latest movie Atrangi Re. She also talked about her brother Ibrahim Ali Khan’s reaction to the movie.

In an interview with a leading news portal, Sara was asked who among both of her parents, is her harshest critic. To this, Sara replied, “Atrangi Re is not a good film to ask this question because they have both been very nice. I think mom is very emotional and will always be. And, my father is a very strong and sophisticated gentleman. But I do know that I have made both mom and dad cry. It is weird to feel that sense of accomplishment that your parents are proud of you.”

She talked about Ibrahim as well and said, “And more than that, even my brother Ibrahim’s reaction. Our equation is about playing around and we keep kidding with each other – from college until now, I am his golu molu sister. But now, he is saying that he is proud of me or that’s my sister, my and he is telling this to others too. So, I feel very happy.”

Directed by Anand L Rai, Atrangi Re stars Sara Ali Khan, Dhanush and Akshay Kumar in lead roles. The movie depicts a love triangle between the three main characters Vishu (Dhanush), Rinku (Sara) and Sajjad (Akshay). The movie had an OTT release on December 24.
