Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Mithun Chakraborty begin filming for Baap. Fans say “desi Expendables”
Here are a few names you probably haven’t heard together in a while – Jackie Shroff, Mithun Chakraborty, Sanjay Dutt and Sunny Deol are set to feature in a film together. The stars have announced that filming for the project has begun.
On Thursday, Jackie Shroff, Mithun Chakraborty and Sanjay Dutt took to their social media handles to share a photo of themselves on the sets of their upcoming film. The behind-the-scenes photo saw the trio in their looks from the movie. Jackie Shroff captioned the post “Jahan chaar yaar mil jaaye….arre chautha kidhar hain bhidu….,” since Sunny Deol was not in the picture. Meanwhile, Sanjay Dutt shared the photo and captioned it, “First day of shoot and @iamsunnydeol already bunking…Where are you Paaji? #BAAPofallfilms.”

Baap is an upcoming action film directed by Vivek Chauhan. The film is billed as an Indian The Expendables-styled flick with a powerful line-up of action stars. As per reports on a leading news portal, the film’s first shooting schedule is underway in Mumbai. It’s being called the “baap of action films”.
Sanjay Dutt was last seen in the Akshay Kumar-led period film Prithviraj, Mithun Chakraborty featured in Kashmir Files and Sunny Deol is set to work on Gadar 2. Baap will reportedly release in 2023.
