Samsung launches its 2022 lineup of soundbars with Dolby Atmos in India – Times of India

Earlier this year, Samsung introduced a new range of soundbars in the global market. Now, it has brought those soundbars to India on the occasion of World Music Day. Samsung’s lineup for this year includes seven new soundbars starting from Rs 24,990 up to Rs 99,990. Also, the lineup includes two series’ – S-series and Q-series, and both come with Dolby Atmos.

Samsung’s 2022 soundbar lineup is available for purchase through Samsung’s online store, Amazon, Flipkart and retail stores across the country.

Samsung Q-series soundbars are the first ones to come with Wireless Dolby Atmos
The Samsung Q-series soundbars include four models – Q990B, Q930B, Q800B, Q700B, and Q600B – and as per Samsung, they are made for the Neo QLED and OLED TVs. Also, they are the first soundbars to come with support for Wireless Dolby Atmos. Furthermore, the soundbars support integrated Q-Symphony technology, allowing soundbars to play audio in symphony with TV’s integrated speakers. Also, the soundbars come with Space Fit Sound Advance, which adjusts the sound as per the room’s size.
The Q990B is the flagship model which is an 11.1.4 channel bass while the Q930B comes with a 9.1.4 channel. The Q800B features side speakers and is a 5.1.2 channel speaker. Whereas, the Q700B comes with up-firing speakers and features a smaller 3.1.2 channel surround sound setup. The base model, Q600B comes with Q-Symphony Gen-2 audio setup and support for HDMI eARC connection.
Samsung’s S-series soundbars are the thinnest soundbars in the world
Samsung has brought the S801B model under the S-series which is the world’s thinnest soundbar with just 39.99mm depth. It has a 3.1.2 channel surround sound setup and comes with built-in Alexa support, Dolby Atmos and DTS Virtual: X audio.
The S61B soundbar comes with a 5.0 channel surround sound setup with support for wireless Dolby Atmos and DTS Virtual: X audio. Further, it supports the Q-Symphony. Moreover, the S61B can be used as a companion speaker or a standalone speaker with support for hi-res audio.
