Samsung Galaxy A14 4G may launch in India next week: Report

South Korean smartphone company Samsung is reportedly gearing to expand its A-series handset range in India. According to a report by SamInsider, it may soon launch the Samsung Galaxy A14 4G in the country next week. The upcoming phone will join the likes of Samsung Galaxy A14 5G, A34 5G, and A54 5G.

The report also reveals alleged features of Samsung Galaxy A14 5G. The handset is rumoured to be offered in two storage models – 64GB and 128GB paired with 4GB of RAM. While the former is tipped to be priced at 13,999, the latter may cost 14,999.

Samsung Galaxy A14 4G was launched in Malaysia earlier this year. The handset boasts of a 6.6-inch HD+ LCD screen with 720 pixel resolution and a water drop style notch at the top.

It comes powered by MediaTek Helio G80 chipset. On the camera front, Samsung Galaxy A14 4G has a triple camera setup on the rear. It comprises of a 50MP main sensor paired with a 5MP ultra-wide sensor and a 2MP macro sensor.

Samsung Galaxy A14 4G runs on One UI 5 custom skin based on Android 13 operating system. The device is backed by a 5,000mAh battery and offers a 10watt charging adapter. 

The handset is offered in Black, Silver, and Dark colour variants. It is likely that all three models of Galaxy A14 4G may be available in India as well. 

Meanwhile, Samsung has introduced a fresh lime color variant for its Galaxy S23 smartphone, which will be available for purchase in India from May 16. This new lime color option enhances the range of choices for consumers interested in acquiring one of Samsung’s premium smartphones. Currently, the Galaxy S23 is offered in Phantom Black, Cream, Green, and Lavender color options. The phone will come in two storage options: 8/128 GB and 8/256 GB, with prices of 74,999 and 79,999, respectively.
