According to reports, Samantha pursued modelling assignments while completing her undergraduate degree. Modelling was just one of the odd jobs she did to earn money. However, her career path changed when filmmaker Ravi Varman discovered her. From then on, she worked hard to establish herself as one of the most reliable actresses in the film industry.
Meanwhile, on the professional front, Samantha is gearing up for her upcoming spy series Citadel. The Indian instalment of the global franchise is helmed by Raj and DK. It also stars Varun Dhawan in the lead role.
Samatha recently attended the London premiere of Citadel. The first instalment stars Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Richard Madden in lead roles and is backed by the Avengers fame Russo Brothers.
