Kushi is a highly anticipated upcoming film starring Samantha and Vijay Deverakonda. Following Samantha’s Shaakuntalam, the two flew out to Turkey to begin filming. Samantha, Vijay, and the movie’s director Shiva Nirvana are on location for the movie’s shoot and it looks like they’re having fun at popular tourist destinations in the country. Recently, Vijay Deverakonda featured in a photo that she posted on Instagram with Shiva.
Samantha shared the photo along with a heartfelt note referring to Vijay Deverakonda as a “dear friend” who has witnessed both her best and worst moments. Samantha wrote, “Sees you at your best, sees you at your worst. Sees you come last, sees you come first. Sees your lows, sees your highs. Some friends gently stand by. What a year it has been!” They were described as a cute couple by many fans in the comments.
Vijay Deverakonda reposted the image on his story and referred to Samantha as his “Favourite Girl.”
Kushi was supposed to be a collaboration between Samantha and Vijay Deverakonda when it was first announced in 2019. However, the pandemic, Samantha’s health, and other obligations caused a delay. She even expressed regret to Deverakonda’s fans for causing the delay. The movie is now preparing for its September release. It marks their first on-screen collaboration.
The film also stars Jayaram, Vennela Kishore, Rohini, Sachin Kedakar, and Murali Sharma in addition to Samantha and Vijay.
