Sam Thompson officially won the internet this week.
The radio host is currently lapping up the sunshine in the Maldives with his girlfriend Zara McDermott and on Wednesday the loved-up duo teamed up to create one of the most hilarious videos you’ll lay eyes on all week.
Pulling on former Love Island star Zara’s bright pink bikini, Sam, 30, stomped around their luxury villa pretending to be an ‘influencer’ and the clip has caused a serious ruckus, with Sam’s comment section absolutely exploding with lols.
Sauntering into his and 26-year-old Zara’s infinity pool, Sam, who was also wearing a snazzy straw hat, looked out at the crystal-clear water the holiday rental was surrounded by before glancing back over his shoulder with a saucy glare.
Zara was one of the first to comment on the footage, joking: ‘Next time just @ me yeah?’ while Millie Mackintosh left a string of cry laughing emojis.
Author Anna Williamson quipped: ‘Nailed it’ and band Tough Love added: ‘Slay queen.’
Meanwhile, Sam’s followers left comments like: ‘On the money,’ ‘This is utter brilliance’ and ‘No, I’m finished’. We second that.
Sam and Zara’s sun-drenched getaway comes weeks after the former ended up in hospital in ‘excruciating’ pain.
Sam had a colonoscopy in a bid to find out what was going on and Zara made sure to accompany him to the hospital.
Keeping his social media followers updated, Sam shared a snap from his hospital bed, saying: ‘Just swallowed a pill that has a camera on it!’
He added: ‘This contraption round my waist tracks it as it goes through the stomach!
‘Hopefully I’ll figure out what’s going on with my tummy’.
A colonoscopy is a procedure in which a doctor uses a colonoscope or scope, to look inside your rectum and colon. It’s typically used to show irritated and swollen tissue, ulcers, polyps, and links to cancer.
Zara later revealed that the results of Sam’s tests had been ‘complicated’, making their balmy getaway this month all the more deserved.
