BBC Breakfast’s Sally Nugent looks a world away from her usual suited and booted image on the morning show’s sofa as she soaks up the sun on a luxury holiday in Marbella.
The star posted pictures to her Instagram stories for her 69.8 thousand followers which show her enjoying the beach holiday.
She is away with friends, including BBC journalist Lizzie Simmons-Wood, Channel 4’s Steph’s Packed Lunch presenter Steph McGovern and make-up artist Patrick Bartley.
Looking happy and relaxed, the TV favourite flashed a glimpse of her bikini under a white shirt and denim cut-offs in a couple of the images.
In the first one, taken as she strolled along the sand, which she captioned “Beach day”, she went barefoot and carried a pair of silver Birkenstocks and a pink tote bag.

The second image captioned “Pool night” saw her in the same outfit sitting cross-legged and relaxed on a shaded white poolside sofa with blue cushions while sipping on a glass of wine.
She also posted pictures of her laughing while enjoying cocktails with Steph and Lizzie while wearing a white crocheted lace dress.
The break will no doubt be welcome following the revelation last month that Sally had split amicably from her husband Gavin Hawthorn.
The couple, who have a teenage son, decided to go their separate ways after 13 years of marriage.
Gavin has reportedly moved out of their £1.4million home in Cheshire.
Despite the fact that they were together for so long, little is known about the 51-year-old’s ex-husband.
She did give a rare insight into their wedding day back in 2021 with a framed photograph spotted in the background of one of her Instagram posts.
In the black and white snap of a bride and groom, which is thought to be Sally and Gavin, the presenter can be seen wearing a beautiful A-line bridal gown as the couple held hands.
Sally only became a permanent BBC Breakfast presenter in October 2021 when she was announced as Louise Minchin’s replacement.
Prior to this, she had been working for the show as a sports presenter since 2011.
