News of Paul’s death came just months after S Club 7 revealed plans to reunite for a UK tour, with tickets selling out in moments.

The band are reportedly still going ahead with their reunion tour and will honour their late bandmate Paul when they take to the stage.

Prior to his tragic death at the age of 46, Paul had been excited to return to the stage later this year and perform with his S Club 7 bandmates on their 25th-anniversary tour.

Sources close to the band claim it’s too early to make a final decision on how the 11 scheduled dates will be carried out following Paul’s untimely death last week.

The upcoming reunion tour (scheduled to kick off in Liverpool on October 13) would have seen Paul perform alongside ex-girlfriend Hannah Spearitt, Rachel Stevens, Tina Barrett, Jo O’Meara, Bradley McIntosh and Jon Lee.

Paul had been excited to go on the 25th-anniversary reunion tour with S Club 7 later this year when the band shared the news with eager fans.

It’s believed the late singer was the first member of the seven-piece band to agree to a reunion tour and had been excited about celebrating the band’s success.

The pop group released a statement that shared their sorrow over Paul’s death.

The statement from read: “We are truly devastated by the passing of our brother Paul.

“There are no words to describe the deep sadness and loss we all feel.

“We were so lucky to have had him in our lives and are thankful for the amazing memories we have.”
