Rylan posts ‘hilarious’ video about new pet leaving fans in stitches

All fans of British TV will be familiar with the name Rylan. With almost 10 years’ worth of experience on our screens, Rylan, 33 is one of the best-loved TV presenters of our generation. He is perhaps best known for his work as a presenter on a number of TV shows including This Morning , The One Show and Big Brother.

Although Rylan is now best known for his confident presenting skills, he started out on our screens showcasing a very different talent. Rylan appeared as a contestant on the X Factor in 2012. At the end of the series, Rylan finished in fifth place aged just 23.

The TV personality’s first audition is extremely memorable for his flowing bleach blonde locks and a charisma that wowed the judges. Ever since, Rylan’s career has gone from strength to strength, and he has developed a large and dedicated fanbase who love to hear details of his personal life.

Fortunately for fans, Rylan often takes to social media to share behind the scenes glimpses of his life. This week was no different, and Rylan took to Instagram to share a hilarious clip discussing his new pet.

In the clip, taken from BBC’s The One Show, Rylan said: “I’ve got a couple of jellyfish coming on Monday.” When asked why he’s decided to do this, Rylan answered he wanted them “just to have in the entrance hall” and that he’s had the “tank for two weeks” to adjust the water.

Rylan said he’s purchased three moon jellyfish, joking that he’s “on [his] own” now so could do with the company, following his split from husband Dan Neal last year. He also revealed that he will be naming the new pets after the legendary girl band Destiny’s Child.

His fans quickly took to the comments to express their joy and fascination at this hilarious revelation. “Just love Rylan,” one said. “Only Rylan could name them after Destiny’s Child,” another joked.

Another Instagram user commented: “Please have @rylan presenting much more, he is fabulous and so professional too.” Another said: “HILARIOUS – only Rylan could get away with this haha.”
