Rylan Clark ‘nearly circumcised’ himself in hair removal disaster
The former It Takes Two host, 34, was speaking to Emily Atack, 33, for her Soaking Up Life Youtube series for Soap & Glory when he spilled about his beauty blunder.
The X Factor star explained he ordered the product but ‘left it on too long’ and applied it on the wrong place, which left him ‘nearly circumcising’ himself.
He said: ‘People would think I’m bald everywhere apart from my face, but I’m not, I’m actually quite hairy.
‘One day, I thought, I’ll be honest with you, “I wonder if it’ll look bigger if there’s nothing there?”
‘So I had a little trim up and then I thought, I’m gonna order some hair removal cream. When I say, I nearly circumcised myself… I left it on too long and I didn’t realise you’re not supposed to put it on the shaft. It went in my bellend.’
Rylan said he continued ‘going about his day’ before noticing a ‘tingling’ feeling that prompted him to read the product’s instructions.
‘Boys be careful, don’t burn your bell,’ he warned, after realising the product is only to be used on the ‘pubic base.’
Ouch.
Rylan will soon be seen in an upcoming raunchy Channel 4 show called Sex Rated, which will see single people seeking bedroom advice.
Set for its official release in the second half of 2023, the show will see applications receive advice from sex experts, as well as several of their ex-partners.
However, the beloved presenter confessed that the format left him questioning his career.
Rylan told the Tea at Four podcast: ‘It’s not a horrible thing, but there are some jaw-dropping moments.’
‘At one point I did question myself when a sex swing came down from the ceiling.’
Rylan was also recently forced to deny that he was the BBC presenter who was taken off air for soliciting ‘sexual photos’ from a young person, as his name was dragged into the scandal.
BBC newsreader Huw Edwards was later named by his wife Vicky Flind as the presenter in question as she released a statement on his behalf, in which she said that he has been ‘suffering from serious mental health issues’ and is now ‘receiving in-patient hospital care’.
