Rylan Clark was quite literally in great spirits last night as he downed shots at Scott Mills’ engagement party last night.
The Strictly: It Takes Two presenter was among the celebrity guests who attended the bash to belatedly celebrate Scott and his partner Sam Vaughn getting engaged in October 2021.
While rubbing shoulders with the other stars, Rylan bumped into Vanessa Feltz and her longtime boyfriend Ben Ofoedu inside the glitzy soiree. Musician Ben managed to rope the presenter into doing tequila shots with him but Rylan quickly regretted it.
In a video shared on Ben’s Instagram account, the two are seen clinking their shot glasses and proposing a toast ‘to Vanessa’ before knocking it back.
Rylan immediately pulled a sour face and rubbed his stomach while telling Vanessa: ‘That was rank.’
After struggling to get through another shot, Rylan told the camera: ‘This is why I don’t go out anymore.’
Ben captioned the video: ‘The Essex Boys coming soon……???????????????????????????????????? ???? ???? ???? ????.’
Speaking on The Hundamental Guide To Life podcast, Rylan said: ‘I had a bit of a dodgy year last year and I took a little bit of time out.’
‘I was like, “Oh s**t, this ain’t good. I’m six foot four”,’ he said.
The TV star added: ‘So I just got a trainer and was like, “Can you make me look a bit buff?” and he was like “Yeah”.’
PT Scott Harrison has since been working with the star, who recently shared his results on Instagram.
Rylan now boasts a six pack and caused quite a frenzy on social media when he unveiled his new look.
