Ronan Keating put on emotional performance as he dedicated it to his late brother.

Ciarán, who was in his 50s, died on July 16 after being involved in a road collision with two other vehicles.

He had been on his way to watch his son, Ruairí Keating, play for Cork City FC against Sligo Rovers FC.

His wife, Anne-Marie also suffered injuries but they were not life-threatening and she was treated at Mayo University Hospital.

The Love Me For A Reason hitmaker, 46, took to the stage during Sunday’sUptown Festival and told the adoring crowd: ‘Didn’t know if I was going to be here tonight or not.

‘It’s been quite a time for our family, so thank you so much for giving me this moment. We’ll get through this together.’

The star later belted out his classic If Tomorrow Never Comes and ended the performance blowing a kiss towards the sky.

At the funeral service in the days after his brother’s death, Ronan sang This Is Your Song, initially penned in memory of his mother Marie, who died of breast cancer in 1998.

Lyrics included: ‘You were our friend, walk with you till the end, and one day we’ll all sing along, ’cause this is your song.’

‘I shouldn’t be singing it in these circumstances but we are and we will,’ Ronan told the service.

Former Boyzone bandmate Keith Duffy was among those supporting the family at the funeral, and was one of the first to express his condolences and post a memorial message following his death.

He shared fond memories of Keating coming on tour with the band, which also included Stephen Gately, Mikey Graham, and Shane Lynch.

‘Ciaran from the early days you toured with us you were a great guide on our journey in the early days You helped and supported us young innocent kids. Take your place in heaven buddy with your Mam Marie ❤️.’

The funeral included mourners from Cork City FC as well as representatives of the Marie Keating Foundation cancer charity.
